Italy will look to build on last year’s encouraging Championship campaign when the 2022 TikTok Women’s Six Nations gets under way on March 26.
The Azzurre finished fourth in 2021’s revamped Championship and have two home games coming up in this year’s campaign, with both taking place at Parma’s Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
Defending champions England are the first to make the trip in Round 2 on Saturday, 2 April in a repeat of a fixture the Red Roses won 67-3 in last year’s Women’s Six Nations.
Italy did have better luck the last time they faced Scotland, however, as they beat them 41-20 in Glasgow in 2021 to finish second in Pool 2 and they will aim for a similar outcome in Round 4 on Saturday, 23 April.
Their fixtures will be completed on the road, against France in Grenoble, Ireland in Cork and Wales in Cardiff in Rounds 1, 3 and 5 respectively.
