Scotland will be one of the teams kicking off the 2022 TikTok Women’s Six Nations, in which they will look to improve on last year’s fifth-place finish.
Bryan Easson’s side ended a four-year wait for a home victory in the Championship against Wales in the 5th/6th place play-off in the 2021 Women’s Six Nations and they have two matches on their own turf to look forward to this year.
The first of those is the opening match of the Championship when defending champions England – who defeated them 52-10 last time out – come to the DAM Health Stadium, Edinburgh in Round 1 on Saturday, 26 March.
It does not get any easier for Scotland in Round 3 when France are the visitors to Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow on Saturday, 10 April.
It will be the first time the two teams will have met in the Championship since the Scots came close to pulling off a big shock against Les Bleues, drawing against them 13-13 at the same venue in October 2020.
Scotland’s other fixtures come on their travels against Wales in Cardiff, Italy in Parma and Ireland in Belfast in Rounds 2, 4 and 5 respectively.
Tickets for the games against England and France are already selling faster than for any previous Scotland Women match and are on sale priced at £15 (adults), £5 (U18s) and £1 for U12s with a paying adult.
Scottish Rugby’s popular “Groups and Schools Offer” is available for both Women’s Six Nations fixtures. If you have a group of girls and boys you would like to take along and experience international women’s rugby, please email [email protected] for details.
