Ireland Women’s head coach Adam Griggs believes his side are in a good place after making two changes to the starting XV to face Scotland in the Women’s Six Nations.

Leinster’s Hannah Tyrrell is promoted from the bench to the wing while up front, Cliodhna Moloney is named at hooker for the contest at Donnybrook Stadium.

Ulster’s Ashleigh Baxter and Munster’s Louise Galvin have come into the squad and are named among the replacements.

Two tries from Claire Molloy helped Ireland to a convincing 35-12 victory over Wales, a second straight victory in the Championship.

Ireland opened up with a 24-0 defeat against France but back-to-back victories over Italy and Wales have moved them into third place in the table.

And the head coach is delighted with how his side is shaping up ahead of their final home game of the Women’s Six Nations.

Griggs said: “We came away with a good win against Wales and there are some huge positives to come out of that. We are in a good place going into the final two games.

“I’ve no doubt Scotland will be looking to push us hard on Sunday afternoon. If we replicate our last performance, get the small things right, I am confident we will have a successful outcome.”

Don’t forget, there’s still time to enter our competition to win a pair of tickets for the match at Donnybrook Stadium.
