Scotland backs Sean Maitland and Chris Harris have been ruled out of Saturday’s 2019 Guinness Six Nations fixture against Wales with injury.
Gregor Townsend’s men face Grand Slam-chasing Wales in the Round Four clash at Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield but will do so without Maitland and Harris.
Maitland, 30, started against both France and Ireland but has picked up a foot injury while representing Saracens in the English Premiership on Saturday.
Harris, meanwhile, came on as a replacement against Italy to score a second-half try in the first round but has now sustained a calf injury while playing for Newcastle Falcons.
Both Maitland and Harris have returned to their clubs for assessment, while centre Stafford McDowall and wing Byron McGuigan were called up to the squad on Monday.
