Laure Sansus was named TikTok Women’s Six Nations Player of the Match after orchestrating a brilliant victory for France as they defeated Ireland 40-5 in Toulouse.

The scrum-half scored two of Les Bleues’ six tries at the Stade Ernest-Wallon as they continued their perfect start to the Championship with a second consecutive bonus-point win.

Teenager Mélissande Llorens opened the scoring for the hosts after a well-worked move from the scrum before Sansus scored her first try on 23 minutes following another powerful shove.

Audrey Forlani and Clara Joyeux also crossed before the break as Annick Hayraud’s side secured the bonus point before half-time to move into a commanding 26-0 lead.

France continued as they left off after the restart, with Sansus scoring her second of the game in a similar fashion to her first, darting over from close range after a powerful scrum.

And Émilie Boulard completed the scoring for the home side after Eve Higgins put her disallowed first-half try behind her to score a consolation for Ireland.

Sansus finished the game with 11 carries for 55 metres and 40 passes, with her masterful performance earning her the TikTok Women’s Six Nations Player of the Match honour.
