Jaco Peyper will referee Ireland’s Grand Slam-deciding clash with England at the Aviva Stadium on Super Saturday in Round 5 of the Guinness Six Nations.

The Championship is set for a thrilling finale, with Ireland looking to seal their first Grand Slam since 2018 and wrap up the Triple Crown in the process against England in Dublin.

South African Peyper is the man responsible for that one, joined by New Zealander Ben O’Keefe, who refereed England’s 53-10 defeat to France a week ago and Frenchman Pierre Brousset in a multi-national officiating team.

Peyper’s South African colleague Marius Jonker will take on TMO duties in the final game of the Championship.

Super Saturday commences at lunchtime, when Italy go in search of their first win of the Championship against Scotland at BT Murrayfield, while Gregor Townsend’s men are themselves hoping for their best finish in five years.

Australian Angus Gardner is the referee in Edinburgh, joined by Englishman Matthew Carley and Welshman Craig Evans as the two assistant referees, while Gardner’s compatriot Brett Conan takes on TMO responsibilities.

Sandwiching those two matches comes the middle game of Super Saturday, where France host Wales at the Stade de France, looking to put pressure on Ireland with a win.

A bonus-point win would mean Ireland need to get something out of their game against England, while if Les Bleus win by 21 points they will go top on points difference, also forcing Ireland to at least earn a losing bonus point.

It is another Australian taking charge of that one, as Nic Berry takes charge from Paris, joined by Andrew Brace and Christophe Ridley as his able assistants, while Joy Neville will be on hand as TMO.
