craig award
Six Nations Rugby's very own Craig Maxwell received a special award last night in London, along with fellow inspirational fundraiser Kevin Sinfield.

The pair were the recipients of the Special Recognition Award, presented by rugby icon Alun Wyn Jones, at the star-studded Sports Industry Awards in Battersea Park.

Craig, who as Chief Commercial Officer for Six Nations Rugby was diagnosed with incurable and inoperable EGFR lung and bone cancer aged just 40, has been recognised for his astonishing fundraising efforts

The full story of Craig's awe-inspiring endeavours and the charitable cause can be read here.

Rugby league great Kevin Sinfield, who is currently a member of the England Rugby coaching team, has undertaken several long-distance running challenges since his close friend and teammate Rob Burrow was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2019.

Both men's achievements have been testament not only to the indomitability of the human spirit, but to the values of the game across both codes.
