Dany Priso and Kélian Galletier have been called up by France to replace injured duo Jefferson Poirot and Wenceslas Lauret for the final game of the 2019 Guinness Six Nations.

Loosehead prop Poirot and flanker Lauret both went off in the first half of the clash with Ireland in Dublin, suffering knee injuries.

Jacques Brunel said after the game that the duo had suffered knee ligament injuries, with the full extent of their absences not yet known.

Priso comes back into the squad, having played in the first two games against Wales and England off the bench before missing the last two games through injury.

Meanwhile Galletier has not yet featured in this year’s Championship but replaces Lauret, who went off in the opening minutes of the Aviva Stadium encounter.

The Montpellier back-rower came off the bench against Italy and England in last year’s Championship.

France head to Rome looking to bounce back from a 26-14 defeat in Ireland, their second on the road in the Guinness Six Nations so far.
