Saracens scrum-half Ben Spencer is part of Eddie Jones’s 26-man England squad for their 2019 Guinness Six Nations finale against Scotland after Dan Robson was ruled out through illness.

Robson made his second international appearance when he came off the bench against Italy on Saturday and promptly scored his first England try in a 57-14 triumph.

That result keeps England’s chances of winning the Championship alive, as they host Scotland at Twickenham on Super Saturday needing to win and also hope that Ireland get a result against Wales in Cardiff.

But they will be without Robson, who has returned to club side Wasps after picking up an illness, giving 26-year-old Spencer the chance to add to his two international caps – which came against South Africa last summer.

Uncapped Bath Rugby forward Elliott Stooke is retained in the 26-man squad, while club teammate Charlie Ewels and winger Jack Nowell are the other players not in the 23 that faced the Azzurri to remain with the group.
