After four rounds of excitement, drama and tries, the 2019 Guinness Six Nations has just one weekend to go – and with three teams still dreaming of the title, it is not to be missed.
Super Saturday is set to live up to its billing this year with three standout games to round off a memorable Championship and for the die-hard fan it is without doubt the best day of the year.
It all starts at the Stadio Olimpico where Italy battle France, both desperate to finish off their campaigns on a high, and then all roads lead to Cardiff.
Wales, unbeaten in 13 Tests, could win the Championship and the Grand Slam by seeing off an Ireland side who are far from out of it themselves.
Predicting who wins is almost impossible but one thing that is for certain is that the match will mark Warren Gatland’s last Championship game in charge of Wales, and Joe Schmidt’s last for Ireland.
Both men know what it takes to lift the trophy and are dreaming of the perfect send-off.
Victory for Ireland would see them move ahead of Wales in the standings but would then leave them nervously watching how events unfold at Twickenham.
England are also gunning for the title and need an Ireland win to stay in the race before their final game. If Ireland get the job done, it’s in their hands against Scotland in the Calcutta Cup.
Whatever happens, it will be the perfect way to finish off the Championship.
