There’s less than 24 hours until the 2021 Guinness Six Nations gets underway, which means you need to start finalising your team in our official Fantasy Rugby game.
We’ve been helping you all week with a quick reminder of the rules, the backs you should consider for Round 1 and the forwards as well.
But now we’ve drafted in the big guns to give you some advice, with former England international and current rugby pundit Ugo Monye selecting his line-up for the weekend.

Ugo made 14 appearances for England during his playing career, including six in the 2009 and 2010 Championships, as well as touring South Africa with the British & Irish Lions.
What we’re saying is, he knows a thing or two about rugby, so allow him to run you through the backs in his Fantasy team, ‘I go U Go’
“My half-backs are an all-French affair with Antoine Dupont at No.9, who I think is the best scrum-half in the world and outside him, someone he’s very familiar with – Matthieu Jalibert,” he explains.
“In the centres, I’ve gone for England captain Owen Farrell at 12 and Garry Ringrose from Ireland.
“My back-three then has something for everyone – I’ve gone for Welsh wildcard Louis Rees-Zammit and another speed merchant Jonny May, with his out and out pace, on the other wing.
“At full-back, to cap it all off, there’s no-one better under a high ball and not a greater threat on the counter-attack than the Scotland captain, Stuart Hogg.”
A pretty explosive backline that Ugo has picked there – I’m sure you’ll agree.
Meanwhile, his Fantasy pack is, in his own words “pretty dynamic”, with five of the six nations represented.
France captain Charles Ollivon is at the centre of an explosive back row that also includes Scotland’s Matt Ritchie and Wales star Justin Tipuric – a trio that will end up with plenty of carries.
Fantasy Rugby: Five must-have backs for Round 5
Ugo’s second row consists of two of the northern hemisphere’s most dynamic locks in the form of England’s Maro Itoje and Irishman James Ryan, while a beefy front row of Mohamed Haouas, Ken Owens and Ellis Genge will be representing ‘I Go U Go’.
On his bench, are Italian duo Marco Lazzaroni and Johan Meyer, along with Scotland scrum-half Scott Steele.
