Matteo Minozzi has become the first Italian player in the history of the NatWest 6 Nations to score a try in four successive games after crossing in the Azzurri’s clash with Scotland.

The full-back has been one of the revelations of this year’s Championship, making his full debut against England in Round One, and starting every game at full-back.

The 21-year-old livewire impressed in defeat to England, with his quick feet allowing him to beat a number of defenders, and he followed that up with a first Test try in defeat in Ireland.

His second try was another late score when Italy took on France in Marseille, and he crossed in the early stages of the defeat in Cardiff.

And as Italy played host to Scotland in the final game, Minozzi went over for try number four in the campaign and a record streak for the Azzurri in the Championship.
