Eddie Jones has guided England to back-to-back RBS 6 Nations triumphs, but further glory is within their grasp.
Beat Ireland and a second successive Grand Slam is theirs and they will seal a world-record 19th consecutive Test win - moving them past the mark they currently share with New Zealand.
1. England 60-3 Uruguay, October 10 2015
England rounded off their Rugby World Cup campaign with a thumping win over Uruguay that saw 37-year-old No.8 Nick Easter become the oldest hat-trick scorer in the competition's history.
The hosts scored ten tries in total at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, with winger Jack Nowell also grabbing a hat-trick and Anthony Watson bagging a brace in Stuart Lancaster's last match in charge.
2. Scotland 9-15 England, February 6 2016
Under new head coach Jones and with Dylan Hartley as their captain, England began their 2016 RBS 6 Nations campaign with victory over Scotland in a low-scoring affair at Murrayfield.
George Kruis scored their first try under the new regime and Nowell's effort in the second half proved decisive, as the Scots were limited to three Greig Laidlaw penalties.
3. Italy 9-40 England, February 14 2016
England were made to work hard in the first half at the Stadio Olimpico, as George Ford scored their only try to give them a 11-9 lead going into the break.
But after Jonathan Joseph's intercept score, the visitors eased themselves clear, as Joseph went on to complete a hat-trick before Owen Farrell's try under the posts rounded things off.
4. England 21-10 Ireland, February 27 2016
England led Jones' first home match in charge 6-3 at half-time, but Ireland opened the game at Twickenham up early in the second half through Conor Murray's close-range try.
But after Farrell closed the gap to a point with a penalty, the hosts turned the match around thanks to Watson going over in the corner, before Mike Brown did likewise just after the hour.
5. England 25-21 Wales, March 12 2016
England made it four RBS 6 Nations wins out of four by putting their World Cup defeat against the Welsh behind them, although the visitors came close to stunning them in the closing stages.
Watson's try and six penalties from Farrell meant the hosts led 25-7 with seven minutes left before quick-fire scores by George North and Taulupe Faletau set Twickenham nerves jangling.
6. France 21-31 England, March 19 2016
England secured their first Grand Slam for 12 years, although they were finding France hard to shake off despite tries by Danny Care and Dan Cole in the opening 19 minutes.
Watson struck for the third game in a row, but seven penalties from Maxime Machenaud kept the French in touch before Farrell slotted two of his own to allow Jones' men to finally relax.
7. England 27-13 Wales, May 29 2016
England came out on top of Wales' third visit to Twickenham in eight months, but only after the visitors had struck first through Rob Evans.
But the hosts' much-changed line-up gradually proved too strong thanks to tries by Luther Burrell, Watson, Ben Youngs, Jack Clifford and Marland Yarde as they prepared for their summer tour of Australia.
8. Australia 28-39 England, June 11 2016
Tries by Michael Hooper and Israel Folau left England 10-0 down after 16 minutes, but three penalties from Farrell, who kicked 24 points, and an opportunistic score by Joseph sent them into half-time 16-13 ahead.
Yarde extended the lead to 13 points early in the second half, but in a thrilling match, Australia hit back through Hooper and Tevita Kuridrani before Nowell sealed the win in Brisbane with the last play.
9. Australia 7-23 England, June 18 2016
A superb defensive effort allowed England to complete a first-ever series victory on Australian soil, with Hartley leading from the front by opening the scoring in Melbourne
Wallabies captain Stephen Moore struck with half-time approaching to leave the tourists 10-7 ahead and, after absorbing heavy pressure, they sealed another famous win as Farrell got on the end of Jamie George's kick ahead.
10. Australia 40-44 England, June 25 2016
A series whitewash was completed after an extraordinary match in Sydney, in which nine tries were scored, as the lead changed hands six times.
England eventually won through thanks to tries from Cole, Brown, Billy Vunipola and George, with the metronomic Farrell kicking another 24 points.
11. England 37-21 South Africa, November 12 2016
A first win over South Africa in nine years kicked off England's Autumn series, with tries from Jonny May and Courtney Lawes helping them to a 20-9 half-time lead.
Ford and Farrell were both set up by Youngs in the second half as England saw off the Springboks at Twickenham despite consolation scores by Johan Goossen and Willie Le Roux.
12. England 58-15 Fiji, November 19 2016
There was little doubt that England would make it a dozen wins on the trot after tries from Joseph, Elliot Daly, Semesa Rokoduguni, Teimana Harrison and Joe Launchbury gave them a 33-0 lead after 26 minutes.
Fiji scored three times themselves either side of half-time, but there was no chance of a comeback as Alex Goode got in on the act before Joseph, Rokoduguni and Launchbury doubled up.
13. England 27-14 Argentina, November 26 2016
England's winning run looked under threat when Daly was sent off after only five minutes for a dangerous tackle on Argentina's Leonardo Senatore.
But after a penalty try helped them to a 16-0 lead, the hosts conceded tries either side of the break to Facundo Isa and Santiago Cordero, only for May's effort with 13 minutes to go to finish the Pumas off.
14. England 37-21 Australia, December 3 2016
This latest victory completed a clean sweep in a calendar year for England, who also equalled the record run of 14 wins that Clive Woodward's team racked up in 2002-03.
Joseph scored intercept tries in either half, with the hosts proving particularly strong after the break with Yarde and Youngs going over in the early stages of the second half.
15. England 19-16 France, February 4 2017
England weren't at their best in the opening match of their RBS 6 Nations campaign at Twickenham, as a powerful France pack put them on the back foot for much of it.
The visitors led 16-12 after an hour through Rabah Slimani's try, but England's strong bench proved important, with one of their replacements Ben Te'o snatching victory with ten minutes left and setting a new national winning record.
16. Wales 16-21 England, February 11 2017
England left it even later in a titanic contest at the Principality Stadium, after Liam Williams' score just before half-time had cancelled out Youngs' earlier effort and put Wales 13-10 in front.
Two penalties from Farrell sandwiched another from Leigh Halfpenny before an errant kick by Jonathan Davies on 75 minutes allowed Ford and Farrell to combine to send Daly scurrying into the corner.
17. England 36-15 Italy, February 26 2017
Italy's tactic of not committing bodies to the breakdown caught England by surprise and the visitors led 10-5 at half-time after Giovanbattista Venditti's try.
Care and Daly both scored to turn the match back in England's favour and after Michele Campagnaro kept the Italians in the picture, two tries by Nowell and another from Te'o finally settled matters.
18. England 61-21 Scotland, March 11 2017
New Zealand's record was equalled with England's most emphatic victory of the lot, as Joseph's hat-trick inspired them to a seven-try defeat of their oldest international opponents.
Watson, Billy Vunipola and Care were also on target at Twickenham, as a second successive RBS 6 Nations title was wrapped up with one game to spare and set up the chance for back-to-back Grand Slams.
