Tickets are now on sale for the Anglo-Welsh clash at the home of Bath Rugby, England’s second match of the tournament, where they previously encountered France in front of a 11,000-strong crowd back in March.

The defending champions open their campaign with a trip to Italy (2 February, 19:15 GMT kick-off) before a meeting with Wales, completing their 2024 offering with fixtures against Scotland (23 February, 19:15 GMT kick-off), Ireland (8 March, 19:15 GMT kick-off) and France (15 March, 20:00 GMT kick-off).

In the 2023 competition, England took a six-try, 37-21 victory over the border in Colwyn Bay, with scores from Josh Hathaway, Joseph Woodward, Rekeiti Ma’asi-White, Tobias Elliott and Ben Waghorn (2) complemented with seven points from the boot of Bath’s Sam Harris on the night.

Mapletoft said: “We’re delighted to be playing at The Rec once again, it is a venue with fantastic facilities capable of hosting special nights under the lights.

“Games against Wales are always fiercely competitive, and the team and I are anticipating another more well-contested meeting as we seek to build on our showing at the World Championships.

“This past summer has given us an opportunity to grow, adapt and explore on the world stage, and I’m proud of the effort put in by the team against some really tough opposition.

“Now, I’m really excited for what’s ahead; the U20 Six Nations historically been a fantastic platform for pathways players to demonstrate their capabilities, and there are few better rugby venues to play at than Bath.”

Information regarding England’s home 2024 U20 Six Nations clash against Ireland will be announced in due course.
