FRANCE NAME TO FACE IRELAND IN LE MANS OPENER

France co-coaches Gaëlle Mignot and David Ortiz have named their side for the first match of the Guinness Women's Six Nations in Le Mans on Saturday (KO 14:15 GMT).

The last time the two sides met, in round two of the 2023 Championship, France notched up a nine-try victory at Musgrave Park in Cork.

France, runners-up in 2023, are setting out to make an opening statement in this year's campaign. Ireland, meanwhile, are aiming to claim a first Championship win against Les Bleues since a 13-10 win at Donnybrook in 2017.
