Philip Doyle has already led Ireland Women to a Grand Slam and Scotland will hope their new head coach can mirror that success when the 2020 Women’s Six Nations begins.

The team finished winless in last year’s Championship , with a narrow 17-15 defeat to Wales the closest they came to registering a win.

But since the appointment of Doyle, who led Ireland to glory in 2013, they have had a series win in South Africa and beaten Spain on the road.

Scotland start off the 2020 Championship with a trip to Dublin to face Ireland on Sunday 2 February before welcoming reigning champions England to Glasgow the following weekend.

Their second home match sees them host France in Round Four and they travel to Italy and France in Rounds Three and Five.
