France booked their place in the final of the 2021 Women’s Six Nations with a superb 56-15 victory over Ireland to top Pool B.

Caroline Boujard, Emilie Boulard, a penalty try, Safi N’Diaye and Cyrielle Banet wrapped up the bonus point before half-time, as Cliodhna Moloney crossed for Ireland’s only try of the first 40 minutes.

And France didn’t let up after the interval as Boujard and Banet dotted down their second tries of the day – the former taking her total for the Championship to five in two games, while Romane Menager also got in on the act.

Emma Hooban touched down a consolation for Ireland late on but it was France’s day and they now head to London to face England on Super Saturday for a shot at the title.
