The loosehead prop was everywhere as Les Bleuettes made it two wins from two following their opening 76-5 win over Wales.
Mailagi opened the scoring after barely a minute and had four by the end of a first half in which she had spent 10 minutes on the sidelines after receiving a yellow card.
Winger Alice Grandhomme chipped in with four tries of her own and France ran in 17 in all on a stunning afternoon. France will now look to make it three wins from three when they take on England in Bedford in their final game.
France flew out of the blocks through Mailagi, with Grandhomme then finishing off a move from a scrum on halfway, Charlie Gauyat converting both to make it 14-0 after just six minutes.
Mailagi's power saw her shake off two tacklers on her way to a second try while a brilliant team effort was finished off by Grandhomme to make it 26-0.
They lost Mailagi to the bin for playing the ball on the floor but France's fifth try was arguably their best of the lot as they broke from their own 22, Anyemone Talalua made the initial burst before finding skipper Lou Roboam who then fed scrum-half Pédussaud for the try. From out wide, Gauyat stretched the lead to 33-0.
Mailagi then returned and brought up her hat-trick after a clever set-play from a five-metre penalty before a fourth with the final play of the half after Aelig Trégouet and Anais Peralez had made breaks. Gauyat's kicking made it 47-0 at the break.
A Pédussaud 50:22 put France in position to get an eighth try early in the second half, Jade Gamon collecting Garance Merle's cross-kick.
Peralez was next over from a nice pass from replacement Marine Kazmierczak before Amalia Bazola blasted through four defenders before putting Oihana Tome Belmonte in. Iris Renaudin had taken over kicking duties and slotted both to make it 66-0.
The tries kept on coming, Merle next over on the right with a gliding run before Justine Ogier went over for the 12th, brilliantly converted by Renaudin.
Grandhomme brought up her hat-trick on the left while Scotland lost two players in quick succession to yellow cards, either side of a Kazmierczak try.
Anna Daniel's try took France to three figures and Trégouet got on the scoreboard before Grandhomme matched Mailagi with the final action of the game, getting home with a smart sidestep after a counter-attack from the French half. Renaudin converted to complete a stunning afternoon.
