FANTASY RUGBY GEEK SPEAKS TO ENGLAND LEGEND ROCKY CLARK

rocky clark
England's 137-cap legend Rocky Clark gives us her fantasy insights going into the second round of the Guinness Women's Six Nations.

How did your team get on in the first round? Who was your top performer?

RC: I finished Round 1 in 1,702nd place and my top scorer was Abby Dow on 58 points.

Did your captain pick work out well?

RC: Yes, she was my biggest points earner.

How about your Supersub?

RC: I didn’t choose one as I had no money left! I went big on my starting picks.

Any regrets from your selections?

RC: Surprisingly, Emily Scarratt: I’ve never seen her score so poorly

Selecting just 4 players from the Red Roses is extremely tough. Who did you go with?

RC: Emily Scarratt – she’s normally golden balls; Marlie Packer – she always scores well and generally bags a try; Zoe Aldcroft - a workhorse who scores well; and Abby Dow – she makes line breaks, scores tries.

Will you be changing your approach at all for Round 2?

RC: Yes! I’ll get a Supersub.

Any lessons you learned from your fantasy selections in Round 1?

RC: Get a Supersub!

Any early thoughts to who you will be captaining in Round 2?

RC: Marlie Packer is in a good place, but Abby Dow may stay there.

What are your thoughts around Fantasy Rugby as an addition to the Championship?

RC: It creates noise, gets people talking. You see what work the players do - even those that don’t get much credit. It's great to create competition with family, friends, colleagues and fans.

Looking ahead to this weekend's Round 2 games, could you share your planned squad?
